Imperial Theatre
CONTRIBUTIONS OUR SPONSORS CORPORATE, FOUNDATION & GOVERNMENT SUPPORTERS

  • Developing the Imperial Theatre as an innovative performing arts venue, presenting a wide variety of the arts with an emphasis on community diversity.
  • Providing quality programming consistent with the theatre’s unique acoustics and historic setting.
  • Restoring and preserving the historic ambience and beauty of the Imperial Theatre facility, while ensuring patron and performer connectivity.

Because ticket income covers only 60% of the Imperial’s operating expenses, we depend on a wide range of generous donors to continue bringing Augusta entertainment, up close and personal, as well as continued efforts to fulfill our mission and make the Imperial a vital part of our artistic and civic community.

The Imperial receives support from individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies, including The Georgia Council for the Arts and the Greater Augusta Arts Council.

Contributions to the Imperial are tax-deductible and may provide exclusive benefits. The historic Imperial Theatre now has a convenient way for our friends to show their support by way of an on-line donation, using the "Purchase Tickets" icon at the Imperial webpage. Just select "Purchase Tickets" and look for "Donations" along the horizontal toolbar. With the recent passage of SPLOST VI a capital campaign will be announced in the near future. Donations via the Imperial ticketsite will be used for short-term capital needs, maintenance and operational needs. The Imperial Community Theatre, Inc. is a 501(c)3 Non-profit organization. Your support is very much appreciated! For more information about ways to support the Imperial and its work, please contact the Administrative Office at 706.722.8293.
