Don't miss this 50th Anniversary Rock n Roll Reunion Concert!
Johnny Hensley
& THE RED HOTS
Saturday, July 19th, 8 PM
JOHNNY HENSLEY AND THE RED HOTS® will be together one more time for a special concert to celebrate their 50th Rock ‘N’ Roll Reunion at the Imperial Theatre. Special guests Patrick Blanchard and Eryn Eubanks and The Family Fold. This concert will benefit "Seeds of Hope," a fundraising campaign for Press On: The Patrick R. Chance Fund for Neuroblastoma Research.
The purpose of Press On is to provide funding for clinical research relating to neuroblastoma, particularly the development of new, targeted therapies and improvements to make current therapies less toxic. Press On is a fund of CURE Childhood Cancer, Inc., Georgia’s oldest 501 (c) (3) childhood cancer charity, and all profits from fundraising activities go directly to support clinical research and development. Last year, physicians announced the development of a new neuroblastoma antibody, one that may extend the lives of many children with neuroblastoma by five to ten years. Unable to secure funding for the manufacture of the antibody, the physicians appealed to the families of neuroblastoma patients to raise the approximately three to five million dollars needed to bring the antibody to clinical trials. The parents raised almost one million dollars by December 2007, culminating in a commitment by hospital officials to initiate a contract for the production of the antibody. It is due to the passion and determination of the parents and all those that have helped in fundraising activities across the nation that this has been made possible. We are continuing these efforts through the Seeds of Hope campaign because funding for this initiative is far from complete and other clinical developments are also in need of funding. “

Corey Smith
Friday, July 25th, 8 PM
Corey Smith returns to the Imperial Theatre for this special summer concert. Corey is obviously connecting with his audience, but it’s not marketing savvy that sells, it’s the music, and that’s where he truly shines. The Georgia native melds country, rock and blues into a sound that is all his own. That distinctive musical flair combined with Smith’s pensive, well-crafted lyrics and soulful Southern voice has earned him an enthusiastic legion of fans. General Admission tickets are $20.00 each plus applicable fees. $23.00 plus fees, Day-of-show.
