General Rules
• All patrons must have a ticket, regardless of age, to enter the theatre.
• No bottles, cans or outside food may be brought into the theatre.
• No cameras or recording devices are allowed, except by media personnel with prior approval.

What are the Imperial Theatre Theatre's Box Office Hours?
The Box Office is open Monday thru Friday from 10am to 4pm. During events, the box office opens two hours before show time, and doors to the Imperial Theatre open one hour before the show. During movies, the box office will be open one hour before showtime.

What types of payment does the Imperial accept?
The Imperial accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, check cards and cash. Checks are not accepted.

If I order tickets online, how will I get them?
You may choose to have your tickets mailed to you (for orders placed more than one week in advance of the performance date) for a small fee. Or you may pick up your tickets at the box office window (also called WILL CALL) during regular box office hours or as early as 60 minutes prior to the show.

Does my child need a ticket?
All patrons must have a ticket, regardless of age, to enter the theatre. Please be aware that not all events are suitable for children...Infants will not be admitted to adult programs/performances. Parents will be asked to remove children who create a disturbance for other patrons.

Does the Imperial have concessions available?
Concessions are available in the Imperial Theatre lobby area. The theatre offers a wide array of packaged snacks, candy and beverages. For our patrons 21 and over, we also offer a selection of alcoholic beverages at most of our shows. Concession prices range from $1 to $6.

How can I get a schedule mailed to me about what is happening at the Imperial Theatre?
There are two ways to receive our schedule:
Call the Box Office at 706.722.8341.
You may also sign up for Friends of the Imperial Theatre and receive monthly emails of our schedule.

Why is a show I have heard about not on your schedule?
We do not post shows on our schedule until they have an on-sale date. Our sales dates frequently change and we do not like to give out that information until it is finally set.

What is the dress code for the Imperial Theatre?
There is no specific dress code for the Imperial Theatre. Some events like opening nights will draw a dressier crowd. Most people enjoy dressing up to go to the theatre, but you will see people wearing everything from casual to Sunday best...and on Opera opening nights, tuxedo/formal wear.

Where do I find information about directions/parking or public transportation?
The Imperial Theatre does not own or operate parking facilities; however, a number of pay and public parking lots surround The Imperial Theatre. The cost of parking is usually $4 to $10.

Can I purchase Gift Certificates online?
Gift certificates are available in any denomination by calling the box office at 706.722.8341. Please note that a $2 shipping and handling fee will be applied to the gift certificate amount. You can also purchase them in person at our box office to receive no handling fees.

Can I use Gift Certificates for anything at the Imperial Theatre?
The gift certificate can be brought down to the Box Office by the recipient so they can redeem the gift certificate for a show/time that meets their schedule.

Can I take a tour of the Imperial Theatre?
Tours of the historic Imperial Theatre can be scheduled by contacting the box office. The theatre is often open for tours during First Fridays, the first Friday of each month. There is no cost for tours.

Does the Imperial Theatre offer student/discount tickets?
The Imperial Theatre does not promote all of the shows at the Imperial Theatre. Any Imperial Theatre scheduled event offers a $10 day of show discount for students.  For advance orders, you can find other student discount information on our Season Calendar page.

Can I reserve tickets over the phone?
If you would like to purchase tickets via telephone, please contact the Imperial Theatre Box Office at 706.722.8341, or you can purchase on-line. Tickets for events may be purchased at the Imperial Theatre box office in person during box office hours.
